Volleyball Information System is a system that allows clearly show all information related to sports events, and manage events via the Web. As its name implies, Volleyball information system was originally designed for volleyball, however, it can be used as a complete information support of any organized sport at the national level.
The system consists of a central database and a set of web portals. Through a simple interface, competition managers can create competitions, entering information about clubs, teams, players, referees and halls in which the competition takes place. In addition, the system allows easy writing and publishing news in any of the portals involved in the system. Also, in a simple way the system can add documents which are visible in portal's the document repositories. Subsystem to create a photo gallery allows you to add a set of photographs, and any entity in this way increases the excitement of the competition. It is possible to add photos from games and full competition, photos of players and referees, team photos, halls ...
As the situation on the list sorted by the team to generate the numbers drawn match the competition all the desired circularity, system creates and maintains order in the team competition based on score entered (the competition generated by the table).
Volleyball Information System currently has three portal: portal of the Croatian first volleyball league club association where it is possible to follow the first croatian volleyball leagues and Croatian Cup, portal of Zagreb volleyball region club association, which follows second Croatian volleyball leagues region center and portal Zagreb Volleyball Federation in which the emphasis is placed on the younger age categories of competition in Zagreb.
